I was recently invited to a Cox press conference announcing some great news for our friends in the Oklahoma City area! Cox has announced the launch of more than 130 WiFi hotspots throughout the Oklahoma City area including Edmond, Midwest City, Norman and Yukon. These hotspots are strategically located in high traffic areas including Bricktown, Campus Corner and more.
Cox is helping people stay connected and now there are more than 20,000 Cox WiFi hotspots nationwide. And, no worries, Cox does plan to expand to the Tulsa area in the near future. Cox has also collaborated with other cable providers offering Cox customers access to the nation’s largest WiFi network with more than 500,000 hotspots throughout the country.
To access Cox WiFi, visit a Cox hotspot and you’ll notice the Cox WiFi network location (SSID) in the list of available networks. Customers can simply enter their Cox user ID and password to log in to Cox WiFi and once authenticated, you can simply browse the internet as usual.
