Fresh, Local Produce Sale in Broken Arrow

My advice, if you want to eat healthy, you have to buy healthy. We own a little co-op in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma called The Produce Gathering. Right now, we’re having an online sale. You can order fresh produce, local eggs, honey, meat and bread then, simply pick it up on Saturday 8-9am at Legacy Christian Academy 1201 N. Elm in Broken Arrow.

I discovered a few years ago, stocking up on unhealthy foods destroyed my body. I have spent a lot of time learning how to eat healthy and save money. Our produce co-op helps me do that and I hope it helps you too. Be sure to order today and pick up on Saturday!

Broken Arrow Produce Sale is Open + Organic, Local Meats

This week’s produce sale in Broken Arrow, OK is open and taking orders! Not only can you pick up amazing, affordable produce but now, you can pick up 100% Organic & Oklahoma raised beef!

I started using our local produce co-op a few years ago as a way to pick up delicious fruits and veggies for our family and save money. A little over a year ago, I bought that co-op simply because I believe in eating healthy and saving money THAT much.

Today, you can visit ProduceGathering.com and place your order for a regular ($15) or family ($25) size produce basket. You can browse the sale and look at all the amazing meat packages available that are 100% organic and raised right here in Oklahoma. We also have farm fresh eggs, local honey and breads available.

Eat healthy. Save money.

The sale ends at 7pm on Tuesday, pick up is on Saturday between 8-8:30am in the gym of Northside Christian Church 1201 N. Elm in Broken Arrow, OK.

Last year, I bought a produce co-op in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We are a cooperative community meaning, we join together to purchase produce at great prices for our families.

Every other week we have an online sale, you can purchase local goat cheese, honey, eggs, meats, etc plus, our $15 bushel basket of produce. I’m passionate about saving money and eating healthy, if you live in or around Broken Arrow, be sure to visit ProduceGathering.com and check us out.

Plan Ahead & Eat Healthy

One of the easiest ways to fall off the health wagon is to mindlessly reach for unhealthy snacks. Eating healthy is purposeful. It also takes planning and preparation.

When I pick up my produce from The Produce Gathering, I immediately wash and prepare the food into storage containers. My refrigerator becomes filled with washed, cut and prepared fruits and veggies. This means, when I’m needing a snack, healthy options are within reach!

As school is starting, we’re all worried about making lunches and getting to school on time. But, what happens after school? Usually, our kiddos (at least mine) are starving. Having healthy snacks ready to go will make it easy for your kids to eat healthy too.

Remember, if you buy healthy food, you will eat healthy food. It’s that simple. Be purposeful about the type of food you purchase and your preparation for the week. Eating healthy does not need to take a lot of time or effort above the norm, it simply takes a little thought.

Did you know I own a produce co-op? Yep, it’s true. I’m convinced that it is possible to eat healthy and save money at the same time. That being said, last year, I decided to purchase the co-op that I had been using to buy my produce. It’s been great!
