Body scrubs are my jam, y’all. One of our volunteers from way back showed me how to make body scrubs years ago and I’ve been making them ever since. The best part is they can be customized any way you choose. This is great to make for yourself but also great for gifts too!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup white sugar (if you want the brown “pumpkin” look, use 1/4 white sugar & 1/4 brown sugar)
1 tbs cinnamon
1 tbs pumpkin pie spice
1/4-1/2 cup olive oil (or body wash)
DIRECTIONS:
Simply mix the ingredients together and add in the olive oil to the consistency you desire. You can also add in body wash instead if you’d like or a mixture of body wash and olive oil, either way works fine, it all depends on what you like with your body scrubs.
If you give them as a gift, be sure to attach the recipe too. It’s the gift that keeps giving. Throughout the year you can skip the spice and add various essential oils if you’d like. Your skin will feel great and smell wonderful too!

Oh, that looks fantastic! I wonder how coconut oil would work in place of the olive oil? I may have to try that! Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty.
