I have what some people would call a large family, we are a family of seven and guess what? I am the only girl. Yep, my husband and I have 5 boys and it is a bit real around here which is why I’m all about all® POWERCORE™ Pacs OXI, 50 count.
One of the biggest things I have learned is how to let kids be kids and how to encourage that on a regular basis. If you find your children constantly complaining about being bored, be sure to plan a few activities yourself so you’re always ready with ideas. In our home, we have regular nerf gun battles, waterballoon fights and my favorite, marshmallow fights.
What I love about these activities is we can head outdoors. That means, we put the video games away, turn off the TV and head outside for fun and exercise.
Recently, my son requested a snowball fight. Well, it’s Oklahoma and snow is not something we get much of especially when it is 100 degrees outside right now. However, I have the next best thing. I picked up those extra large marshmallows and we staged a snowball fight.
It was a blast! Staging a snowball fight is easy and everyone can get involved! First, pick up the largest marshmallows you can find at your local store.
Next, let your kids pick out items to hide behind such as a stack of ice chests or tables. Our yard has no trees so, we have to improvise a bit with crates and various items from our garage but it works out fine!
We usually split our kids into teams and each of us adults are on a team as well. This is such a great family activity plus, this will get your kids (and yourself) moving! We work up quite a sweat, the kids clothes are covered in grass stains and you can probably smell us when we get done. It’s intense!
When we finish up, all of the boys collect the marshmallows and put away our ice chests and such. Then, it’s my turn to start the laundry! I took a trip to Walmart for the marshmallows and made sure to pick up all® POWERCORE™ Pacs OXI, 50 count.
all® POWERCORE™ Pacs OXI, 50 count. packs fight kids tough stains and leave your clothes not only clean but smelling nice and fresh too. I love how they whiten and brighten clothes as well, with boys, we go through clothing quick and it’s nice to have a detergent that makes your clothes look great after every wash.
What I love about this product is, my boys can be boys and I don’t have to worry about them ruining their clothes. We were able to play outside, get dirty and sweaty, throw the clothes in the washer and they came out smelling fresh and clean (follow instructions on package).
